While serving as Direct Material Productivity Leader, he developed a five-year project pipeline aimed at reducing product costs through redesigns and leading Kaizen Events while driving millions of dollars in cost savings.

Ed brings expertise in the utilities and renewables sector to AM Saxum, with significant experience in driving operational excellence through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. As a Six Sigma Black Belt supporting the Chief Engineer’s Office at GE Energy, he advanced renewable energy technologies, including solar panels and wind turbines. He also led GE Energy’s first company-wide demonstration of aPriori 3D software, which enhanced product development efficiency, increased profitability, and reduced risk.
Ed played a critical role in improving on-time delivery performance at GE Power Conversion. When GE acquired and renamed a business as Power Conversion, Ed co-led a project with a site in Berlin, Germany, where on-time delivery initially stood below 50% against a 95% target. By analyzing contracts, integrating critical dates into their SAP system, and establishing rigorous weekly touchpoint meetings, Ed’s team exceeded the 95% on-time delivery goal. He also coordinated similar improvement efforts across all five Power Conversion sites in Europe, which faced significant delivery challenges.

He achieved substantial improvements in minimizing project margin erosion and led all ISO 9001:2008 Surveillance Audits. This included overseeing a Multi-Site Certification audit and leading internal audits, managing site audit teams, and supporting other sites with audit processes.
Ed also contributed to the development of a Global Multi-Site Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, enhancing organizational quality practices.
At Infor, a leading ERP software development company, Ed served as Industry Principal Sales Director (Presales), leveraging his expertise as a trusted customer advisor and lead solution architect.
